Folkl.org's review:

This is a great film, and it deals with some recurring themes that have been with Canadians ever since the Cold War, namely, can we still do big things? Spoiler: the answer is "yes."

The Challenger jet inherits the lineage of the Avro Arrow and the Avro Jetliner, it's a story about some scrappy underdogs with an outdated factory build a jet which impresses everyone.

Director Stephen Low was talked into making this a film about people, not just technology, and that was the right choice. The camerawork has a personality all its own, frenetically following a character in one shot, or passively and reflectively holding a wide shot in another frame, the narration, camerawork and editing give this film a lot of personality.

This is simply a good film.
